   PIKES PEAK OR BUST TOURNAMENT CANCELLED

We're sorry to have to give you this news, but the Colorado Springs Office of Special Events is not issuing Special Events permits for the rest of the year due to the uncertain COVID-19 health conditions. Without this Special Events permit we are not able to reserve the pickleball courts at Monument Valley Park, our tournament venue. We will try again next year!

   REQUEST FOR UNUSED/OLD PADDLES 

PPPA Members, most of you remember last year’s request from Bob Koff for used/old paddles to teach pickleball to the high school kids at a fishing town in Alaska. Bob is headed out again this winter to the US Antarctic Bases at McMurdo and the South Pole. Antarctica and could use some donated used or old paddles that you may have sitting around. Pickleball is gaining in popularity there but they could use some more equipment. Anyone interested in donating paddles can contact Bob at bobkoff@hotmail.com or give him a call on his cell at 719-494-7703. Thanks for your support of this worthwhile effort to share Pickleball in Antarctica.
